Marta Kuszakiewicz – known as-  Marta Q

 

A musician by education. An actress of famous Polish music theatres.  A vocalist and a flautist. She comes from an artistic family, her mother is a singer and a music teacher, her father is a trumpet player and a vocalist, who plays traditional jazz in many well-known Polish bands.

 

Her parents travelled extensively spending many years in Chicago and Finland.  Marta accompanied them on their journeys. She was brought up among artists, between different dressing rooms and stages. She loves the stage and the feeling is mutual.

 

She is known for her great talent for comedy roles. She played many leading roles in performances directed to children. With a small group of artists she has formed a project called “Artistic Merry-go-round”. Together they wrote and performed many wonderful plays and beloved by children.

 

In 2004 she  broadened her artistic field, completing the “Academy of Special Education” and became a speech therapist, she also took an interest  in  music and art therapy.

 

Like her mum, Marta is a music teacher. Apart from teaching music, for many years she  conducted drama workshops with children. She worked with disabled people and seniors teaching them art, music and drama. Through art therapy she was also working with abused women.

 

In the last few months Marta has produced two meditative music compositions.

SHe is mother of 20 yoers old Karolina - she is also singer already.

 

 

Tomek Smolski – known as – Smolu

 

A military man by education, by passion and vocation a musician.  For over 15 years he has been the guitarist and vocalist in the “Knockout” band. “Knockout” is known mostly for its hard rock sound but they also play pop, dance and romantic compositions. They are exceptional at playing hot pieces of 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.  Apart from playing with “Knockout” he has also played and recorded albums with other rock bands, among others: Gaga and Agnihotra. 

 

Tomasz has three wonderful daughters and 5 grandchildren. His other passion is martial arts. For years he has practiced kung fu: tai chi, wing chun and karate.

Marta and Tomek met for the first time when they were about twenty. At that time their paths led in different directions. They haven’t been in touch for years.  However in 2013 their paths met again and since that time they become inseparable. Today they share the same passions, they have the same goals. But their most precious goal is enjoying every moment of their love and life together.
